... Experiences ...

Sometimes... just sometimes you realized you are actually getting older... You want to think you are the same kid you were 20 years ago, the one which the biggest issue was: Shit! I forgot the toy in my grandma's house... But then you come back, and again you use your experiences to remind you why is it good to get older...

During the last 3 months I have been working at P&G, I have finished my german course (level one, of course) and started classes, that on the professional side... On the personal side, lots of confussions on the relationship, i't's so hard sometimes to be inlove of somebody that is thousands of miles away, a person you can't get to know based on experiences, but based on words and emails, but this is defenetly something I need to work out soon, cause feelings are involved, and when feelings are involved you may have the best experiences or the worst experiences...

But to tell you something... I went to the beach of course... With my MC team for the last time, during August, before they left and with some friends later... Then I spent a week in Margarita, an Island in Venezuela, Rob came :-) and we had an amaaaaazing week, Albert and Frank went there too, for 3 days... Then we came back, Rob left... and some weeks later I went to Miami, were I met my mom, brother and some other family, I spent 5 days with them there, great days, and also got some good clothes :-)

Soooooo... great experiences defined great people... and as we all can have great experiences we all can be great people... Sooooooo.... for the best, lets just make sure we have great experiences!

Solutions...

What to do in the middle of students demonstrating all the time and taking some streets?

Go to the beeeeeaaaach!!! yes, the perfect solution to avoid any demonstration and make sure you have a great weekend, full of sun, water, sand aaaand a little bit of alcohol... hehehehe... Yes, I decided to go to the beach as we didn't have classes during the whole week and I was getting mad about this situation.

So the weekend... AWESOME! although I burned sooo much that now I'm very red and in pain, which doesn't birng much fun... But the colour is kind of cool... Now I'm more relax, active and with lots of energy to listen music and dance.

This weekend there are a couple of nice activities in Caracas... I think that I'm finally going to party again... Which means; DANCING!

News from Venezuela?

If you watch the news about Venezuela in these days you will be able to find information about RCTV, the TV channel that is not transmiting anymore because the government believes is the best...
The last week there were several activities in order to protest about Chavez's decision... on friday the universities actually suspended activities. But on saturday I had my community service class again... And on sunday I stayed home, working on some things and watching the last day of transmission of RCTV.
It was kind of sad... The messages, songs created, images, and finally watch how at 11:59:59 pm the TV went blank for a while... 1 minute later the new government's channel started... Today students are again on the streets. I dont believe in that pacific solution, this time I do believe that something else should be done. But people want a pacific protest, and that should be respected.
If you wanna know more about this go to: www.globovision.com (spanish), www.rctv.net (spanish) or http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6696699.stm (english)

Hugs from Venezuela... Where protests are taking place...

What a weekend...

Aaaaaawweeeesome!

I was in this camp training/selection with more than 40 people... It was great, apart from the fact that I was the oldest guy there... But I had the chance to share with all that people... They had from 16 'till 21 years, but I played volleyball, watergames, rallys and any other game with them. The thoric parts were cool also. It was like a real weekend!

I'm really happy about it... Although I crashed my car... :-(, which doesnt make me very happy... Buuuut still, the weekend was aaaaaaaaaweeesome!

Love!

Near future...

Hehehehe... The reason for my excitment these days... I mean, I've been dreaming and creating lots of expectations around the plans that my mind is conceiving... hmmmm... Let me share some with you, or probably all.

Right now I'm in my transition time, which is starting with great results. My MCPe is very happy in her position and expecting lots for her experience. This weekend I'm leaving for a training, an AIESEC training most of you should think, buuuut NO! Im going to a Camp Guide training/selection. YES! I'm really happy 'cause I've always wanted to be a Camp Guide and I never had the time before to do it, but the opportunity just came to me and I'm taking it. So this weekend the Directors of the camp will select the people that will have lots of fun with lots of kids.

Right after there are 2 possibilities depending on several factors... But basicly one of the options is going out of the Cy (I'll tell you later depending on some of these factors), the other option is taking a trip around my country, wanna know why? CLICK HERE! Hopefully what you're gonna see there is enough reason for you to understand :-)... And maybe also to join me!

In september I'm going with my family to U.S., yes! after several years of not going to US with my family there's gonna be a family trip to US again... We're gonna remember old times 'cause we're going to Orlando, that means Disney World and other parks :-), that's really exciting! I'm gonna have too much fun in the water parks, the new rides, new attractions...

And in October... Coming back... starting to work aaaaaaaaaaaand... My last year in the university HOPEFULLY!

What do you think? Wouldn't you like to have plans as excited as mine? Wanna come? hehehehe...

I'M SOOOO EXCITED!!!! (Which means that I'm singing and dancing more than usual)

WANTED!

If you see this guy stop him!
AND GIVE HIM A HUG!

He's being kind of random this week (as you could read in the previous post). We suggest you to be careful. As soon as you hug him RUN!

... UN Security Council...

World's Random Week

According to the biggest news website in the world, located in one of the Pacific islands, this week is the World's Random Week! This website have noticed an increasing number of people communicating random comments in virtual spaces. Because of this they have decided to give to the people a week for randomness...

Soooo... I have decided to celebrate the World's Random Week... How?, you have nooooo idea, random expressions are coming from every single part of my body, I'm signing to my team each day doing a "Karaoke MC" where I've been performing Jessica Simpson, Andrea Bocelli, Marta Sanchez, Cristian Castro, etc. On the other hand I've been trying to start studying at 1:30 am, which means that I've been falling sleep wherever I'm studying by that moment... I'm also ready to work, hehehehehe, yeah right, the truth is that I haven't been able to concentrate too much, which means that I'm in a very bad situation with my university and my amount of work done.

Buuuuuut the best think is that.... I'M EXCITED & HAPPY about what's expecting me for the future... I'm not stressed yet aaaaaaaaaand I'm gonna keep celebrating the World's Random Week... I really don't care about what people could say about it! :-P

Read you later! :-)... and Happy Randomness!

Something that I just stop feeling in Venezuela was felt again in this conference...

YES! I AM IN AIESEC! The spirit is back and hopefully it will grow lots! AIESEC Venezuela is going to rock next term... The talent we have right now is the talent needed to bring AIESEC back to this organization. I'm very proud of my team and very proud of the reults we had in the conference!

As most of you already know Richard left the office almost 2 weeks ago... Sooooo, the new finance responsible during his absence iiiiisssss...... MEEEE!!! hehehehe, I'm back to finances... Is great to be back, although more work is coming, specially 'cause there are some fiscal and legal issues, and of course, finances are not always that fun when a conference is coming and you dont have enough money.

Anyway... last week was craaaaaazy... But the conference started almost on time, we got lost like 5 times on the way to the venue, but we (facis) arrived really early which gave us time to finish everything we had to prepare... Besides one guy, we had awesome externals, people loft them. We had session in the pool, sessions with projections on the roof, great outputs, like the contribution for AIESEC 2010, and great parties like the local cultural party.

People danced rollcalls, people cried, people did their best in order to make everything work and have the best conference ever!

Right now I'm back into the office... lots to do of course... meetings and issues to solve... But again really happy to be here... Although Im starting to think that probably it is my time to leave AIESEC.

:-o... Can't believe I said that...

Confussion

Lost in space

Sad?

Happy?

Satisfied?

LOOOOOOTS TO DO!

Ok... Rob just told me that it seems that I stoped my editing moment... Porbably he's right... I just think that I came back to my reality and actually is kind of worse. Why?, I have soooooooooo much to do, I mean, I left the Cy once for IPM, that was ok 'cause it was my job and also I was on school holidays...

Buuuuuuuuuut I also left the Cy to go to Mexico and I missed 2 weeks of classes plus lots of work I had to finish by those weeks (I did some of the work in Mexico, but not eeeeverything). Sooo, right now I'm trying to catch up my classes and exams, paper works and friends (yeah right, they want to kill me)... Plus tons of work I have to do.

But you know what's the best thing?... Guess... I'm still excited, happy and frustrated... Im soooo happy with the work Im doing these days. The preparation of NATCO is greeat, the agenda, sessions. Im also in the tracking days of the national plan. Im having great meetings in the MC. Im watching opportunities eeeeverywhere. Im still listening a lot of music. Im just living!

To tell you a little bit about my life these days... I arrived on Good thursday and I spent the night with mny mom going to 7 different churches (catholic tradition), sooo insted of resting I spent the night in the whole city 'till 1 am. Anyway on friday I went also to the church, but this time I took my grandma who wanted to go, I stayed there for 4 hours almost. The cool thing is that I could see and talk to good friends I had long time without speaking to. For those who dont know me, I used to spend lots of time in church during 10 years of my life.

Saturday and Sunday were familiy and friends days... I had the chance to go to COPAS! (I really love that club) and I look for chocolate eggs in my grandma house, the adults (Im still a child) hided the eggs in all the house and the garden and we looked for them (fuuuuun!!!)... Of course, I couldnt miss my time to work on AIESEC during those days, although I couldnt do as much as I wanted.

These days I've been going to the office, having meetings, going to classes, catching up... Difficult, and I feel some professors actually look at me as the guy that is noooo interested at all in their classes... FUCK! I had an amaizing experience that gave me more than what they could give me in those 2 weeks :-P

Soooo... Thats the resume that I can give right now... Have to go back to work... Very excited and happy!!! I just cant stop movements in my body and music in my head...

Loooooove is in the air!

Just finished!

Well guys! we just finished the Spanish Speaking Presidents Meeting (SSPM)... My last task here... My last responsibility as MCP of AIESEC in Venezuela here in Mexico... The meeting was great! we had good discussions and we got to commitments, hopefully commitments that are going to be accomplished this time... Im gonna make sure that Venezuela fullfil ours.

Now Im in the MC House working in some small things and answering some emails... Tomorrow I wanna go to the pyramids, to the computer center (need to buy a pd) and to "Basilica de la Guadalupe"... And Im pretty sure that there are some other things I should see... Buuuuut, no time!

So people... hope you're ok... Thanks for reading me... Dont ask for pics!

Excitment!!!!

I think that in this time is just impossible for me to describe the amount of excitment that I have... Is not just 'cause we finish a great conference and the delegates are fucking satisfied! But is also 'cause I'm feeling soooo good about the result of the conference that I just wanna dance, jump, sing, open my body to the world and let them feel the energy and light that is inside me.

Actually the conference is finishing tomorrow, but today we had our last session as facis of ALDS... Or who knows, facis of Ser Mas Leaders Summit... hehehehehe... We'll see... I just wanna say that this is defenetly another experience that have a great value in my AIESEC career and in my life.

Shit guys... Conferences in AIESEC are the best... you can have any role, but the best experience I have had in my life have been IC 2004 as CC member and now AXLDS 07 as faci... I just wish that all of you could have this opportunity and could take as much advantage as I did.

I'm now going to the last party of the conference... Just wanted to share my excitment with people out of the conference... Love you all... Life is great! and more is coming... Hopefully this havent finish here...

Hugs and Kisses!

Some images from Guanajuato!

Here are some images!
Enjoy!

We were taking a decision in our office... Which?, dont remember, so dont ask :P

Here we have the faci team dancing our great roll call.. Can you find me?

For those who are wondering, this is our wonderfull and colorfull agenda!

Hidden behind the plenary

Hey!

So I decided to stay behind the plenary... The reason, there's a session going just infront the plenary, and Dey is taaaaaaalking about the SSGN action charter. And also cause I came into the plenary when the session already started and people start to clap cause of something about been late.

Anyway... to tell you a little bit more... We had an awesome outdoor day, my group was excelent! the activities were really good and I manage to dress up and go to the formal dinner, which was soooo good that I actually didnt want to leave... Soooo, we came back to the hotel (the dinner was outside) and I keep talking to people and received a greeeeeeat massage.

The next day we had the LN, completly a mess for us, there were no communication and I actually couldn't manage to understand our role in that part of the conference. So we went back to the hotel and work in the sessions for today, we ended up working 'till 4 am, and Irina and I went to sleep at 4:30 am... Today I woke up at 7:30 sooooooo sleepy, but I took my shower, went for breakfast and start my sessions of the day, which were very very very coooool!

Now I'm veeeery tired, in a faci meeting with something in my eyes according to eeeeeverybody... I wanna go to the party, hopefully I would be ably to, I think that all the busses already left.

Well... meeting finished... Going to find a way to go to the party!

Hugs!!!

mmmm... Franky is worried...

Yeap... Franky is really really worried... I have to prepare something for the team and I still dont have a clue of how to do it... But the good news is that I just got my computer to work, so I have access almost all day to a computer to get my things done.

To tell you a little bit more about my trip to Mexico... I got late to the airport, and the guy said: "5 more minutes and you could loose your flight"... Buuuuuuuuut, didnt happen, Im here!, the flight was great, I read all the time the preparation materials and I also "visited Costa Rica", sorry, I meant, I stayed in an airplane for 45 minutes in Costa Rica... They didnt let us go out!!!!

I arrived and as I said we went to Cami's house and we got drunk, Sebastian gave us Aguardiente Colombiana!!!, shit, my first time drinking pure Aguardiente... To tell you about the next days I should get the pictures... As soon as I get some you'll know more :-)...

I'm gonna continue working and looking for the way to prepare what I have to prepare... aaaaaaand Im gonna continue eating tacos, quesadillas, etc.... Are you jealous?... I would be if I were you :-P

Hugs from Guanajuato.

Happy again!

Just to start getting use to this...

On March 15th (today) I'm suppused to send my IPM report to Araz and Argentina (regional Director and regional Chair), if not Venezuela will be charged with $200. But that's not the funny story...

Funny is when I had a really buuuuuuusy day yesterday... Plan review meeting with the MC, interview with the MCP candidate, meeting with the Alumni Coordinator, thousands of emails to answer (as always), etc... I even missed my classes 'cause I was really worried about the fact that "yesterday was March 15th". Yes! that's the story, I thought yesterday was March 15th... So I decided to buy some redbulls and work on the report reading some information and deciding what should be there...

But then... Rob came online (12:30 am) and after talked with him about my stress he just said, "but today is March 14th for you, you have 'till tomorrow to send the report"... I'm pretty sure all of you have lived something similar aaand... So I just saw the light again, I laughed lots and remember how much I enjoy my life...

So today... Happy day... I'm working on the report! :-) and I enjoyed my first redbull... Still have 2 more...

Monday, March 12, 2007

Ok...

So yes... I'm Bloging again after 3 months... what can I say, Im just not use to this activity... aaaand Im actually doing this just to show you one special picture: The Franky 2010 picture, took by Yoel from Perú! In this pic I was on the Red Sea in Egypt!

Franky 2010:

Every day Franky wakes up and plays some music and dances... Singing while he's taking a shower.

Franky keep building on his network and try to go as deep as possible with each of the people in it. Providing excitment and learnings each time somebody is around him.

Franky keeps working on his own development and keep helping those who need it, specially people that want to understand why they are as they are.

Franky is still happy... and he's always making sure that he does whatever it takes in order to continue being happy... without harming somebody else...

Hehehehehehe... Dont have too much time to think... So probably I just forgot something... Actually, as I said I just wanted to show you the pic that Yoel took.

In case you're wondering what have I done? A little resume since December... Actually my vacations didnt ended in Morrocoy, I spent really nice days showing Aine parts of Caracas and some other beaches like Choroni, meeting new people and introducing her more people... I finished another semester (I passed all my subjects!!!) and of course, I worked a looot for AIESEC... We had the NSM and 2 days after I went to Egypt, where I spent almost 3 wonderful weeks, I'll let you know why in the next post (like in 6 months from now)

Right now I'm sick... But completly happy, in a new semester and just about to leave to México! TO BE FACI OF ALDS 2007!!!!

Anyway... as always... got to go... But at least I posted something...

Kisses! Franky.
